
The World Series of Fighting returns to NBC Sports tonight with the seventh card in their young history. While there are some prelims before the start of the NBC Sports broadcast, we’ll be bringing you live results for the televised main card portion of the event right here.
The main event sees Georgi Karakhanyan take on Lance Palmer for the WSOF featherweight championship.
The night’s full card breaks down like this:

Dwayne Lewis vs. Kalib Starnes – Round 1 – A slow open with both guys standing a bit out of range and poking with leg kicks. Lewis with a good body shot and now some body kicks. Starnes with a big flurry in return now and he landed some good knees to the head. Leg kick from Starnes hurts Lewis. Starnes spent the round talking and taunting every time he got hot. 10-9 Lewis.
Round 2 -They’re clinched against the cage shortly into the round and Starnes lands an elbow right to the temple and it knocks Lewis out cold. Kalib Starnes wins by KO (elbow), round 2.
Nick Newell vs. Sabah Fadai – Round 1 – Newell shooting for the single, Fadai is doing a good job of keeping his balance but Newell sweeps his leg. Newell locking in the guillotine and it’s over. Nick Newell wins by submission (guillotine choke), round 1.
Jesse Taylor vs. Elvis Mutapcic – Round 1 – Jesse Taylor with a takedown and he’s right into the mount. He does a little damage and Elvis gets half guard back but Taylor is smothering him and just roughing him up from the top. Elvis gets full guard back. Elvis is bleeding badly. Taylor pulls guard with a guillotine but he can’t manage to finish. Elvis is on top now with 1:15 left. Elvis takes the back but Taylor spins and is back on top. 10-9 Taylor.
Round 2 – Taylor with a quick takedown again.Taylor tries to pull guard with a guillotine again. now they roll and Taylor is on top in mount but can’t finish the choke again. Taylor is in side control now. He tries for a kimura but nothing there so Taylor back to punching away. Elvis manages to get his guard back. Elvis manages to get on top now and he’s trying for a d’arce choke but Taylor avoids. Taylor ends up back on top when Elvis went for a side choke. 10-9 Taylor.
Round 3 – Taylor with a quick takedown again. He just grinds away the round from the top. Easy 10-9 Taylor.
Official scorecards: 30-27 across the board. Jesse Taylor wins by unanimous decision.
Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Lance Palmer – Round 1 – Georgi misses a head kick. Palmer can’t get a takedown on his first real shot. Palmer with a hard eye poke. Georgi can’t open his eye while talking to the ref or doctor but they restart it anyway. Head kick by Georgi misses. A lot of moving, not much connecting. 10-9 Karakhanyan I guess.
Round 2 – Palmer with a takedown and Georgi tries to lock up an armbar and Palmer slams him to get out of it. Palmer works away from on top the entire round. Georgi was active from bottom, but Palmer’s round. 10-9 Palmer.
Round 3 – Palmer with another takedown and he ends up on the back eventually, working an odd leg lock attempt before trying to lock up a rear naked choke. Georgi manages to lock in a guillotine choke for the win though. Good stuff from Georgi. Georgi Karakhanyan wins by submission (guillotine choke), round 3.
