UFC 167 nets 2nd biggest U.S. gate in UFC history

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the numbers for the UFC 167 live gate and attendance and they’re very good.The live gate grossed $5,759,350 with 13,621 sold tickets, 57 tickets unsold, and 1,235 comped tickets.

UFC 167 is second on the all-time U.S. gate revenue list after UFC 148 (Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen 2) which generated revenue of $6,901,655.

The UFC 167 main event saw Welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre take a controversial split decision win over Johny Hendricks. Chael Sonnen lost via 1st round TKO in the co-main event to Rashad Evans.
