Saturday November 23, Bloody Elbow presents live fight coverage of Glory 12 New York, live on Spike TV. Glory 12 New York airs live on Spike this Saturday, November 23 with a fight time of 9:00 p.m. ET. Bloody Elbow will have live fight coverage, including results and discussion, right here. Saturday night, I will be live at the event, providing live results and tweets of all the action. Follow along at @FCoffeen for all the updates.

It’s official – Glory 12 New York is an event. And I mean that in the greatest sense of the word. Tomorrow, Glory heads into the most famous arena in the world, Madison Square Garden, for Glory 12. They have a giant screen in Times Square, they are anticipating a full house tomorrow night. And just in case that’s not enough to show what an event this is, how about this: Floyd Mayweather will be there. Not bad for a company in only their second year of existence promoting a sport that everyone felt would never catch on in the US.

Today, Glory presented the final stop on the promotional tour – the weigh-ins. And again, this confirmed that Glory is the premiere home for kickboxing. In attendance at the weigh-ins were of course the fighters competing tomorrow, but also Semmy Schilt, Errol Zimmerman, Andre Mannaart, and so many more kickboxing luminaries from around the world. All have converged on New York for Glory 12.

At the weigh-ins, all fighters made weight with no issue. In a slightly awkward moment, Heavyweight Jamal Ben Saddik attemptd to weigh in wearing a suit but was forced to strip down on stage and weigh in just as everyone else does. Eddie Walker got the unexpected pop of the night – expect him to have a vocal following tomorrow. Brian Collette and Warren Thompson exchanged in a nose to nose, intense staredown – get excited for that one.

But the biggest event at the weigh-ins was reserved for the final fighters to hit the scales. When Andy Ristie and Giorgio Petrosyan faced off, the smirk on Pertrosyan’s face gave a clear sense of dismissing Ristie’s chances. Ristie was unhappy and got in the Doctor’s face. It’s rare to see much emotion out of the clinical Petrosyan – will he approach the Ristie fight with a little extra something now?

We’ll find out tomorrow night at Glory 12, live from the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Join us here at Bloody Elbow for Glory 12 New York live on Spike with results, discussion, and live fight coverage this Saturday, November 23.
