Glory has announced the full line-up for their next show. Glory 12 New York will take place November 23 at the Theater at Madison Square Garden, and will be the company’s second event aired live on Spike TV. Bloody Elbow will have plenty of Glory coverage leading up to fight night.
The big selling point of the show is, as always, Glory’s one night, four man tournament. This time, it’s the Lightweight division that is featured, which is notable for one particular name – Giorgio Petrosyan. The multi-time Grand Prix champion is the clear cut #1 kickboxer in the world. Here, he looks to prove that once again. But it’s a very strong field, with Robin van Roosmalen, Andy Ristie, and Davit Kiria all looking to knock Petrosyan off his perch. Should be an excellent tournament, and as Glory 11’s superb Heavyweight tournament showed – anything is possible.
In the main event, Glory 10 champion Joe Schilling takes on Wayne Barrett in a big fight for American kickboxing fans. The co-main event sees Jamal Ben Saddik square off with Ben Edwards – that one is just your good old Heavyweight slobberknocker. Don’t expect it to go long. Rounding out the Spike TV card is Ky Hollenbeck vs. Shemsi Beqiri in the tournament reserve fight.
