Impressive performance here from the mohawk-ed one. We’ll see if he has the same luck against the winner of Matt Hughes vs. Igor Vovchanchyn.
Today, it’s time to dig into the vault as we feature two fighters who made their name entirely without the support of the Zuffa machine. It’s the #3 ranked former Pancrase and UFC champion Bas Rutten (28-4-1) taking on Women’s MMA great, and recently retired, #6 Megumi Fujii (26-3). It’s a battle between two fighters who are sure to leave a lot of fans scratching their heads. One of these net favorites will move on to the Sweet 16 – you choose who.
