2013 World Wrestling Championships Day 3 Live Finals Video: USA's Burroughs Wrestles for Gold

Jordan Earnest Burroughs, superstar of American wrestling, will compete in the finals of the Wrestling World Championships in the men’s 74kg division in freestyle wrestling. Burroughs has never lost in his international career, and this win would mark his third world-level championship in a row after a world championship in 2011 and Olympic gold in 2012. He will face an opponent in Iran’s Essadollah Akbari, whom he beat decisively in the 2013 World Cup.

The American women’s freestyle team has started off well. After strong tournaments, Alyssa Lampe at 48kg, and Victoria Anthony at 51kg find themselves in bronze medal matches. Both stand very good chances of winning.
