Following this weekend’s revelations that UFC Welterweight #1 contender Johny Hendricks has deep reservations about the VADA he agreed to participate in before his title bout with champ Georges St. Pierre, GSP’s trainer Firas Zahabi tweeted some comments on the matter:
Just for the record our camp does not have a “close relationship” with Vada. Let’s do every test under the sun! No math Qs plz

our side has asked to do both tests. That’s should make everyone happy. GSP is 100% drug free.

VADA & NSAC are both good but also have their pros and cons. Let’s do both test and make everyone happy. This is the plan.

The drama around GSP’s “drug test challenge” is adding an extra layer of strategy and gamesmanship to the title fight.
