It’s my favorite time on Bloody Elbow – contest time! This time, we have quite the generous prize coming from the fine folks at Bellator MMA!
Not one, but TWO winners will be chosen, with each winner earning the grand prize of a pair of tickets to Bellator 98 in Uncasville, Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Casino on September 7. This event is the season-premiere of Bellator MMA, which is highlighted by Alexander Shlemenko defending his middleweight title against Brett Cooper (who has replaced Doug Marshall due to a hand injury), as well as the return of former featherweight champ Joe Warren. Now taking his steps into the bantamweight division, “The Baddest Man on the Planet” looks to earn a second championship in a new weight class, but at age 36, can he conquer time (as well as his opponent Nick Kirk) to advance and get a crack at the belt?
How do you enter this contest to get yourself some tickets? All you have to do is a write a fanpost about Bellator 98. Just to give you a few ideas, you could write about Joe Warren’s chances at advancing in the bantamweight tournament, what would happen if Cooper dethrones Shlemenko, or discuss the opening rounds of the middleweight tournament (which also go down on that night) and let us know how you think it will unfold. All that matters is that it is about Bellator 98 (so nothing about the Tito VS Rampage pay-per-view or other Bellator current events).
