Jose Aldo returns to the UFC cage tonight to defend his featherweight title against fan favorite “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung live on pay-per-view. UFC 163 kicks off with three fights streaming live on Facebook (6:30 p.m. ET), continuing to the FX broadcast (8 p.m. ET) through the five fight main card on pay-per-view (10 p.m. ET). And we’ll have live results and thoughts right here on Bloody Elbow all night long.

Aside from the title fight between Aldo and Jung, the show’s co-main event sees former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida taking on Phil Davis in a bout that moves one man closer to title contention.

Middleweights Cezar Ferreira and Thiago Santos will meet in Ultimate Fighter Brazil winner Ferreira’s first bout since winning the reality show, Thales Leites takes on Tom Watson in a middleweight bout and John Lineker battles Jose Maria Tome in a flyweight bout to round out the card.

Make sure to come back when the show goes down and share your thoughts on the night’s action in the comments.

Jose Maria Tome vs. John Lineker – Round 1 – Maria moving on the outside, throwing some jabs that are way short. Now Lineker with a right hand that backs him off. Low kick by Maria but Lineker says he’s fine. Lineker with two punches after mria clinched, now he lands a big shot that knocks Maria down due to balance more than anything. Lineker with a right hand and Maria looks a bit lost in there. Spinning back fist rocks Lineker! Maria is charging and he lands agood shot, and another. Maria tries for the guillotine and now lands a big left. Lineker is throwing back but he’s still hurt. Maria with a takedown after catching a leg kick. Lineker is able to get up now and he has Maria’s back standing. Now a low blow by Maria again, actually, the replay shows that it wasn’t low but Lineker gets a break from the ref anyway. Lineker with a nice flurry to end the round but Maria won that one 10-9.

Round 2 – Lineker coming forward early and he lands a good shot that drops Maria. Lineker pouring it on and it’s over. That’s one way to erase a bad first round. John Lineker wins by TKO (punches), round 2.

Tom Watson vs. Thales Leites – Round 1 – Leites got a takedown with ease early and ended up taking the back of Watson. He tried for a rear naked choke but couldn’t finish but was able to do a lot of damage while on the back. Watson did manage to escape with about a minute left but Leites landed some punches. Watson digging with some leg kicks. 10-9 Leites.

Round 2 – Leites got a takedown but they spent a lot of time on the feet. Leites landed a good jab multiple times in the round, but Watson landed some good punches himself and now Leites is gassing badly and had an awful takedown attempt. Watson with some good shots at the end of the round. 10-9 Leites.

Round 3 – Big left and Leites is pushing him into the cage. Watson is gushing blood from his eye after that big left from Leites. Leites with a takedown on the over-aggressive Watson and he’s on top in full mount. Leites working and he’s almost got the arm triangle locked in. It’s fairly deep. Round ends though. 10-9 Leites.

Official scorecards: 30-27 across the board. Thales Leites wins by unanimous decision.

Thiago Santos vs. Cezar Ferreira – Round 1 -Ferreira stings him with a punch and now throws a head kick, he’s hurt. Ferreira with a guillotine and it’s over. Wow. Cezar Ferreira wins by submission (guillotine choke), round 1.

Phil Davis vs. Lyoto Machida – Round 1 -Davis with a leg kick, Machida tries to come forward. Machida working his strikes and he lands a kick to the body. Head kick from Machida gets in a little bit. Overhand by Davis just misses. Machida with a big combination and Davis is reeling but he seems okay now. Davis shoots and gets a good takedown with a minute left. Davis finishes the round with some good elbows from the top. I still have it 10-9 Machida but Davis showed he can get the takedown.

Round 2 – Machida with a body kick. Now Davis clinches him and pushes him to the cage but Machida slides off. Machida with a short left and he gets right back out. Right hand lands for Davis. Another right for Davis. Machida with a nice kick. Good right by Machida and Davis gets the takedown with 20 seconds. Davis with knees to the body and now some elbows. 10-9 Machida.

Round 3 – Davis with a flurry and he’s just having to chase still. If he could get a takedown with some time, things could get interesting. Leg kick by Davis. Machida lands as Davis is coming in for a shot and Machida has Davis’ back. Davis gets loose but takes a kick to the body. Machida with a hard left. Machida defends a deep Davis takedown attempt. Machida lands another hard counter as Davis throws a body kick. Davis tries for a takedown and Machida defends it very well again. 10-9 Machida.

Official scorecards: 29-28 across the board. Phil Davis wins by unanimous decision. Wow, highway robbery.

Jose Aldo vs. Chan Sung Jung – Round 1 – Aldo throws a few punches with an overhand right landing solidly. Jung lands but so does Aldo. Jung lands a left but Aldo landed a hard left of his own. Jung misses a head kick. Aldo still throwing the jab. Aldo with a takedown but Jung gets up quickly. Big head kick from Aldo, Jung tries to run at him throwing in return but it comes to a close. 10-9 Aldo.

Round 2 – Jung with a good right hand. Jung misses a front kick to the face. They trade shots, Aldo gets the better of it. Aldo counters with a couple good punches including an uppercut as Jung ducked down to enter and throw a punch. Aldo with a great left hand to the body. Aldo with a hard jab and Jung’s legs buckled a little bit. Right hand lands for Jung and Aldo ties him up and slams him down with a big takedown. 10-9 Aldo.

Round 3 – Right hand by Jung. Aldo with a good left hand. Jung tries for a flying knee, Aldo catches him in mid air and slams him down. Aldo trying to keep him down. The ref stands them up for lack of action. Jung is just letting his hands go, trying to make something happen. Aldo digging for a takedown again. Jung with his own takedown but he can’t do anything before the round ends. 10-9 Aldo.

Round 4 – There was a flurry and Jung’s shoulder came out of socket and Aldo started kicking it over and over. The fight is over as he goes to the ground and Aldo flurries. Jung’s shoulder is in horrible shape, he’s in a ton of pain. Jose Aldo wins by TKO, round 4.
