The Fight Nerd caught up with The Fight Professor, Stephen Quadros, after the Glory 9 weigh-in’s, where Mr Quadros broke down the tournament, lets us know why Daniel Ghita is the man to place your big bets on, and which two fights are the best for new and hardcore fans. Glory 9 will take place on Saturday, June 22, from the Hammerstein Ballroom in midtown Manhattan.

“There’s two hardest fights,” Mr Quadros explained, “The very first tournament fight between Mourad Bouzidi, ranked number three int he world, against Danyo Ilunga, ranked number one in the world at light-heavyweight. Those guys are both technicians, both have a lot of exp, and mourad has almost 100 fights, but then at the bottom of the brackets, you have Michael Dutt, a very cage fighter who is from [the same gym where] Rob Kamen came from, going up against “King of the Ring” Tyrone Spong, who is coming down from heavyweight to fight in the light heavy-weight tournament.” Watch the rest to hear what else Stephen has to say about this huge kickboxing event happening in NYC!
