Rony Jason vs. Mike Wilkinson — Featherweight bout
Rony Jason, the inaugural TUF: Brazil winner and Team Nogueira fighter, wasted no time in dispatching UK submissionist Mike Wilkinson.
Wilkinson sprang for a double-leg takedown a half-minute in and got it, but immediately found himself sunk deep in a triangle choke. Jason re-cinched the already treacherous hold and then further persuaded Wilkinson to tap by banging a series of elbows off his head. Rather than yield, Wilkinson opted for a nap just 1:24 in to the 1st round.
With the victory, Rony Jason advances to 14-3, extends his overall win streak to 7 and makes it 3-0 in the Octagon.
