UFC 160: Mark Hunt gets work visa to fight Junior dos Santos

It’s been widely published that Mark Hunt has been struggling to enter the U.S. to get to Nevada for his upcoming fight against former Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos at UFC 160. A 2002 arrest lead to the United States denying Hunt his work visa for his upcoming fight. Throughout the difficult both Hunt and the UFC remained calm about the situation saying that it was only a matter of time before the New Zealander made it to America.

With less than a week before the event, it looks like “The Super Samoan” has finally been cleared:

With he visa issues out of the way, Hunt has only 6 days to fly to Nevada and acclimate himself to the time change before fighting knockout-artist Dos Santos on Saturday May 25. The event will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Hunt and JDS are featured as the co-main event, while Cain Velasquez will attempt to defend his Heavyweight title against Antonio Silva in the headlining bout.
