Middleweights Michael Bisping and Alan Belcher met in the Octagon at UFC 159. Throughout the 14+ minute fight, Bisping showed that he’s a superior striker. He repeatedly landed solid counters and outworked Belcher. The fight ended in some controversy, as an accidental eyepoke led to the fight ending in technical decision instead of seeing the final bell.
Bisping was coming off a devastating knockout loss to Vitor Belfort back in January at UFC On FX 7. Belcher was also coming off a loss where he gave up a decision to Yushin Okami at UFC 155.
