Just before UFC 156, Dana White announced that women’s Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey would be featured as a coach in the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. Just this past Saturday, Cat Zingano earned the right to coach opposite her with a 3rd round TKO victory over Miesha Tate at the TUF 17 Finale. While that announced may not have surprised many, the revelation that the upcoming season of the series would be co-ed probably did.
White that the TUF 18 would showcase fighters from both the women’s and men’s 135 lb. division. As we reported on Tuesday, many WMMA stars showed up to audition for the reality TV series at the tryouts on Monday. This video coming from MMA Fighting features a ton of action from the tryout process.
