With The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale just behind us, it’s time to start looking forward to UFC On Fox 7 coming up this Saturday. Some of the most anticipated fights of the year so far will take place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA. The Headlining fight will feature Ben Henderson’s third attempt to defend his Lightweight title against Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez.
On top of that, the main card is filled with exciting fights. In the co-main event, former Heavyweight champion Frank Mir will welcome Daniel Cormier to the UFC. Cormier is coming in with a ton of hype following his claim to the Strikeforce HW Grand Prix title.
Keeping consistent with the Strikeforce vs. UFC theme, former contender Nate Diaz will fight former Strikeforce contender Josh Thomson.
