Former UFC champion Don Frye is in fine form in this interview with MMAInsideTheCageTV. Here’s a couple of the “high” points:
On PEDs: “Who gives a s—? It’s part of professional sports. If you think they’re not doing it….s— they’re doing it in golf. Who cares. They’re doing something positive for the economy. They’re producing money. If you’re worried about what’s legal and not legal. Look at the goddamn government, they’re so corrupt they don’t even hide it anymore and they’re going to go after some guy doing PEDs.”
On Brock Lesnar: “That guy’s a waste of flesh. I’ve never met a bigger a—— in my life. They spent all that time pumping him up. They hand fed him…I think Mir and Couture threw the goddam fights. I know Randy Couture’s a much better wrestler than Lesnar ever thought about being. Mir could’ve been the greatest of all time if it wasn’t for that motorcycle accident. There’s no way either one of those guys should have lost to Lesnar.
“I’ve had a couple dinners with Lesnar, had a couple drinks with him and found him to be a complete a——.”
It’s important to note that Frye has no evidence that Mir or Couture threw their fights with Lesnar and watching those fights makes it very clear that Lesnar brutally battered both men, but Don Frye gonna Don Frye.
He also claims the World Series of Fighting has approached him about fighting.
