The third episode the current season of The Reem is out, and it’s just as good as every other episode. This one looks at the whole experience surrounding Alistair Overeem’s bout with Antonio Silva at UFC 156. It shows a bunch of the leadup to the bout in Las Vegas, provides a candid look at the fighter right after he was knocked out in the third round and lost a coveted title shot, and shows how Alistair deals with the loss in the aftermath.
As usual, the quality is excellent and I still believe this is the best documentary-style series in MMA. You should definitely check it out if you have some time. Overeem was scheduled to meet Junior dos Santos at UFC 160, but suffered an injury and his spot was taken by Mark Hunt.
