The UFC is back in Sweden and tickets are already sold out. Light-heavyweight contender and Sweden-native Alexander Gustafsson once again headlines in his home country, this time facing Strikeforce’s Gegard Mousasi. Interestingly enough the UFC’s press release has this as a five-rounder, but Swedish MMA rules last year previously banned five-round fights. I’ll take the UFC’s word for it and assume it’s scheduled for five.
This card is just about complete. There are 11 fights so far so there’s probably room for one more and then it’s all a matter of bout ordering.
The only real “top 10” matchup outside of the main event is a bantamweight fight between Brad Pickett and Mike Easton.
Just to clear up any confusion, THE FIGHTS LISTED BELOW (except the main event) ARE NOT THE OFFICIAL ORDER. In other words, the card I’ve posted below is just simply the list of fights. This does not mean Corassani/Peralta is opening the Facebook prelims.
