The UFC makes its 2nd Swedish appearance this April 6th, and the fight announcements keep coming. While not officially confirmed by the UFC, Swedish website Aftonbladet and MMA Junkie report that Strikeforce fighters Adlan Amagov and Chris Spang will battle in Stockholm.
Amagov (11-2-1) is moving down from middleweight to welterweight, making this his 3rd consecutive downward weight class change. He went 3-1 in Strikeforce, with the lone loss coming against Robbie Lawler by flying knee KO. Of his 11 wins, 7 have come by KO/TKO, with 6 of them in the first-round.
Spang (5-1) is a native of Sweden who went 1-1 in Strikeforce, losing to Ricky Legere by decision but winning by TKO against Nah-Shon Burrell. Like Amagov, Spang prefers to strike, and competed in two pro boxing bouts in 2009 at super middleweight (168 lbs), winning both fights by decision.
UFC on Fuel TV 9 is headlined by light-heavyweights Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi.
