The UFC’s 2nd trip to Sweden has another fight added to its schedule, and it’s a good bantamweight matchup between England’s Brad Pickett against American Mike Easton. This news was confirmed by the UFC’s UK twitter account:
UK bantamweight Brad @one_punch Pickett is set to take on powerful @mikeeastonmma at #UFCStockholm2013 on 6th April!

Pickett fought Eddie Wineland at UFC 155 to end 2012, and was knocked down multiple times early in the first round. Ultimately, he was unable to rally for the win and lost by split decision — although the one scorecard in his favor was questionable to say the least. “One Punch” is one of the most exciting fighters in the bantamweight division, and in his last fight in Sweden he won FOTN honors and a submission win over Damacio Page.
Mike Easton started out with a 3-0 record in the UFC and was on his way to potential contender status, but lost to Raphael Assuncao at UFC on FOX 5 in Seattle. It was a tough situation for Easton, as he was originally scheduled to fight T.J. Dillashaw, then Bryan Caraway following Dillashaw’s injury, but ended up with Assuncao after Caraway withdrew with an injury of his own.
The April 6th card is headlined by a light-heavyweight fight between Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi.
