Result: Adam Kayoom def. Zuli Silawanto by Rear Naked Choke, R1
Adam Kayoom is a BJJ Blackbelt and a Muay Thai Champion. He’s one of the most promising fighters in the region, and definitely the best from Malaysia. He took on Indonesia’s Zuli Silawanto, and it didn’t even look close.
As expected, Kayoom landed a few shots standing before being able to take it to the ground and took over from there. He transitioned to multiple dominant positions, until he was able to secure a rear naked choke that finished the fight early.
It was another excellent performance from Kayoom, and he followed up on his equally impressive victory over Gregor Gracie. He has established himself as one of the top welterweights in the ONE FC roster, and we can expect him to get closer to a title shot soon.
Result: Peter Davis def. Leo Krishna by TKO (Doctor’s Stoppage), R1
Following the bout was a battle between Malaysian model and actor Peter Davis, and Leo Krishna. After an early takedown from Krishna, Davis got a good reversal. As Krishna dove for a leg lock though, the Malaysian model defended by landing several heel stomps to the face that cut him up.
It was a gruesome cut on Krishna’s mouth, and it forged the ringside doctor to stop the fight. That makes 3-0 for the ONE FC career of the popular fighter in Davis, and improves his overall record to 8-1.
