Former multi-division champion Randy Couture was one of the UFC’s biggest and most longstanding stars. However, earlier this week it was announced that Randy signed up to work with the UFC’s closest rival in Bellator. As part of the deal, “The Natural” will be featured as one of the coaches in the first season of Bellator’s reality series, as well as several other projects with Spike TV.
With Couture committed, UFC president Dana White responded to the news Thursday at a media function for UFC 156:
Dana says he’s happy to never be in business with Randy Couture again. “He’s the furthest thing from Captain America.”

White didn’t give any details as to why he he’s happy not to work with Randy in the future. However, their legal battle from a few years back was widely publicized and most likely left a sour taste in Dana’s mouth.
