The last Strikeforce card kicked off with two solid dark matches and the action was fast and furious all the way to the final prelims bout between K.J. Noons and Ryan Couture. The two men engaged in an entertaining brawl, but it was Noons that landed the cleaner shots throughout. The bout should have gone to him, but instead, Couture was given a dodgy split decision win. KJ got a 30-27 card, but two judges gave Couture 29-28 scores. Both fought well and deserve to the be in the UFC either way.

Earlier on Showtime Xtreme, Tim Kennedy and Roger Gracie picked up submission wins while Pat Healy grinded his way to a decision win over Kurt Holobaugh. In the dark matches, Estevan Payan stopped Mike Bravo in the second round, while Adriano Martins beat up Jorge Gurgel and took a decision win. Here’s a rundown of all the results:

Ryan Couture defeated K.J. Noons by split decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28)
Tim Kennedy defeated Trevor Smith by submission (guillotine), 1:36 of round 3
Pat Healy defeated Kurt Holobaugh by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)
Roger Gracie defaeted Anthony Smith by submission (arm-triangle choke), 3:16 of round 2
Adriano Martins defated Jorge Gurgel by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)
Estevan Payan defeated Mike Bravo by TKO (strikes), 4:01 of round 2
