The UFC will be returning to Japan on March 3rd, looking to capitalize on their successful event last year. The main event will see Pride legend Wanderlei Silva face off with Brian Stann in a bout that’s actually at 205, despite both men recently competing at middleweight. The other major bout for the card has Mark Hunt facing off with a streaking Stefan Struve in a heavyweight showdown. And it just so happens that linemakers have already installed Stann and Struve as favorites in their respective bouts. Here’s a look at the current lines:
It’s tough to argue with either of those. Stann has the power necessary to put away the aging Wandy, as much as that saddens me. And while Hunt had been blasting on fools lately, Struve has shown that he can submit one-dimensional fighters (Lavar Johnson). I hate saying this as a Super Samoan fan, but Struve at that price is a seriously good bargain. I’d recommend jumping all over that.
