
In the UFC 155 co-main event, Jim Miller beat Joe Lauzon’s face to a bloody pulp in a Fight of the Night winning decision. Miller opened up Lauzon’s forehead with a series of elbows in the first round and Lauzon continued to pour blood for the rest of the Lightweight fight. By the end both men were covered and Miller’s beard was soaked a deeper shade of red.
After the fight, Lauzon informed on his Twitter page that it took 40 stitches to close his wounds. Since then, “Creepy” Joe has given daily updates on how his face is healing, including a quick story about a surprised delivery man:
