Saturday night will kick off the UFC’s final event of 2012 with UFC 155. The Heavyweights will star the show as Cain Velasquez looks to reclaim the championship from Junior dos Santos. Dos Santos took the belt from Cain a year ago with a 69 second knockout at the UFC’s inaugural event with FOX. Since then, each man has picked up a victory en route to their rematch. Both at UFC 146, Cain decimated an overmatched Antonio Silva before JDS walloped Frank Mir.
Thursday at 4 pm EST (1 pm PST) both headlining fighters will appear at the pre-event press conference alongside UFC president Dana White.
UFC 155 will happen on December 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Lightweights Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller will be the co-main event. TUF 1 veteran Chris Leben will be returning from a year long suspension to face Derek Brunson in the opening fight of the PPV portion of the card.
