UFC On FX results: Norman Parke decisions Colin Fletcher
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

The Lightweight finalists were up second on the main card for UFC On FX 6. English native Colin Fletcher earned his spot with a second round submission over Richie Vaculik. He squared off against Norman Parke who earned a unanimous decision over Brendan Loughnane in the semifinals.

Norman Parke went to put his Judo black belt to work early. He put Fletcher’s back against the cage early to get the takedown. From there, the rest of the round was all Parke controlling from half-guard then side mount. Not a lot of damage, but Fletcher didn’t do anything but get a reversal in the last 30 seconds. Second round looked a lot like the first. Parke maintained top control and dominant positions for the first 3 minutes before Fletcher finally got back up. Both fighters showing a disturbing amount of mediocrity here. Third round was all standup and Fletcher was unable to use his reach advantage through most of it. He did land better in the last 90 seconds or so, but that wasn’t enough to win the fight. Norman Parke wins the unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27 x 2) over Colin Fletcher.
