The injuries and illnesses continue to wreak havoc on UFC on FOX 5’s preliminary card. After Brendan Schaub vs. Lavar Johnson was scrapped as the leading prelim fight on FX, Michael Chiesa vs. Marcus LeVesseur became the new “feature fight”. As of today that is no longer the case, as Chiesa has been forced off the card according to the UFC’s official twitter account.

If you’re keeping score, that’s the 7th different preliminary card change. There’s no word on a replacement or if there will even be one on such short notice.

Chiesa won TUF: Live by submitting Al Iaquinta, and the Washingtonian was given a chance to fight on a local UFC show against Rafaello Oliveira, but Oliveira was injured and LeVesseur replaced him. Now it’s Chiesa off the card and it likely forces the UFC to reshuffle the bout order yet again.
