The Facebook prelims and Antonio Carvalho vs Rodrigo Damm certainly set the tone for the night. Regardless of a couple finishes, pretty much all the fights brought solid action to a highly anticipated card.
Chad Griggs made his Light Heavyweight debut on the FX card. He made his name after defeating former WWE star Bobby Lashley. He made the move to 205 after Travis Browne finished him in the first round at UFC 145. Cyrille Diabate didn’t prove an easy transition though. Diabate bloodied Griggs early before locking on the rear naked choke midway throught the first round.
Topping off the FX card, Patrick Cote met Alessio Sakara. It looked like a quick finish for Sakara after less than 90 seconds when Dan Miragliotta stopped the fight. However, repeated shots to the back of the head secured the DQ victory for Cote.
