Greg Jackson looking forward to working with GSP and Condit after UFC 154, talks Nick Diaz

One of the big stories leading up to UFC 154 has been the absence of Greg Jackson, who opted out of training either main event fighter. Jackson has coached Carlos Condit for all of the interim Welterweight champion’s career and he’s worked with Georges St. Pierre for much of his tenure as champion. So as not to create a conflict of interest, Jackson decided to sit this one out.

Fight Hub TV caught up with him to talk about the future of both fighters with Team Jackson. Jackson assures that he looks forward to working with both GSP and Condit regardless of the winner Saturday night. That may not come as good news to some fight fans. Many fans have openly blamed Jackson for St. Pierre’s risk averse style of late as well as Condit’s stick and move gameplan that won him the interim title at UFC 143.

Fight Hub asked Jackson about Nick Diaz, who Carlos Condit defeated to gain the interim belt. Jackson calls Diaz a “great fighter” and a “tough fight” for whoever comes out on top Saturday night. He also says he’s a big fan of Diaz’s style.
