The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale fight card

This season of The Ultimate Fighter has been a spectacular failure. I can safely say that because Dana White criticism of the fighters and the season itself is at an all-time high. It’s for that very reason this upcoming finale card is a tad different from past seasons. While not officially confirmed, it looks like only the season finalists are getting a spot on the card, because the rest of it is booked. Normally they put 3-4 non-TUF related fights on the card and fill the rest with the TUF contestants, but this crop apparently isn’t worth it.

If you look at the strength of this card, maybe we should root for more terrible seasons like this one because this is one of the stronger free shows the UFC has put on. Even the preliminary card is stacked with fun fights and the main card is just fantastic from an entertainment perspective.

The Ultimate Fighter finale takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, December 15th and due to the decision to yank Palm’s Casino off the venue list, the UFC will be returning to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
