George St. Pierre on ESPN’s E:60

As one of the most dominant champions the UFC has ever seen, Georges St. Pierre gets a lot of attention. Tonight wasn’t any different as the top Welterweight got a feature on ESPN’s E:60. Host Rachel Nichols interviewed St. Pierre for the segment on many different subjects including childhood bullying and and his rehabilitation coming back from a severe knee injury.

Last year, GSP was expected to defend his title against Nick Diaz at UFC 143 in a highly anticipated fight. Unfortunately, St. Pierre was forced from the bout due to a tear of his ACL that required surgery in December. Considering his reliance on overwhelming athleticism, one of the biggest questions heading into UFC 154 is how big an impact the injury will have on his return. Georges is expected to face Interim champ Carlos Condit who took his place against Diaz last February. The two will meet on November 17 in the Bell Center in Montreal.
