UFC on FOX 5 is almost too good to be true. The card is stacked from main event to the opening preliminary card fight, and it feels like there’s no way this card can stay “as is” on December 8th. Well guess what? There’s a fight withdrawal, and it’s on one of the leading preliminary card fights on the night. Lightweight Rafaello Oliveira is out of his matchup against TUF: Live winner Michael Chiesa according to Chiesa on Twitter. He addressed the news by talking a little bit of trash.

“The Tractor” came pretty close to a 2nd UFC cut following stoppage losses to Yves Edwards and Gleison Tibau. He last won at UFC 148 against Yoislandy Izquierdo but his overall UFC record is still just 2-4.

Chiesa, as mentioned earlier, won season 15 of The Ultimate Fighter with a first round submission win over the favored Al Iaquinta. He hasn’t fought since but he will get to fight in his home state of Washington, where he resides in Spokane. Chiesa is a perfect 8-0 in his MMA career in addition to his unbeaten run on TUF.

Oliveira apparently suffered a hand injury, and according to The MMA Report Marcus LeVesseur has stepped in on short notice.

Chiesa told TheMMAReport.com that he will be facing Marcus LeVesseur and the fight will take place on the preliminary card of UFC on FOX 5.

LeVesseur is coming off a win over Carlo Prater three weeks back at UFC on FX 5, successfully avoiding the chopping block after losing his debut to Cody McKenzie.
