Former UFC fighter and reality TV star Jason “Mayhem” Miller made a bizarre appearance on MMAFighting’s The MMA Hour that ended when he stormed off the set of the show. Miller was apparently attempting to do the planned one hour interview “in character” — he plays Lucky Patrick on the new Kevin James movie “Here Comes the Boom” — but things got stranger and stranger as Helwani tried to reign him in.

Miller ended up storming off the set less than 20 minutes into the show. The show then moved to a pre-recorded segment before going off the air for several minutes, then Helwani returned and talked about what happened.

“That was interesting, and also a little bit frightening, and a little bit sad.

“I thought he was going come and use that platform to discuss what was going on over the past couple months,” Helwani said. “I didn’t think he’d come all the way from California to do that. And that’s unfortunate because I think this could have been a good platform for him.”

Miller was arrested last month for breaking into a church and defacing it. He was cut from the UFC after losing two fights in a row.
