UFC on FX 5 Bigfoot vs. Browne Results: Justin Edwards taps Josh Neer with a quickness
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Justin Edwards made short work of Josh Neer in the opening fight of the FX broadcast of UFC on FX 5: Bigfoot vs. Browne in Minneapolis, MN. Edwards choked Neer unconscious with a gullotine choke in 45 seconds of the first round.

Neer shot in quickly and left his neck out. After the fight Edwards told Jon Anik that he knew Neer had a habit of baiting opponents into attempting guillotine chokes as a way to get take downs. Unfortunately for Neer, Edwards had superior submission skills tonight and locked the choke in too tight for Neer to break up when he tried to get a hand under Edward’s choking arm.

Edwards improves to 2-2 in the UFC and 8-2 overall. Neer falls to 2-2 in his current UFC run, 6-8 in the UFC overall and 33-12-1 as a pro.
