The UFC 152 promo is out and it’s pretty standard UFC promo material. I suppose you can’t really expect too much from an ad for this fight, but I’ve liked the stuff that they’ve done over recent shows that had a more unique flavor. Given that Vitor Belfort isn’t exactly a good opponent for Jon Jones, especially considering that he hasn’t fought at light heavyweight since George W. Bush was still in office, I kind of expected it to be more focused on Jones.
Honestly, it’d have been interesting to see them play up the controversy surrounding UFC 151 and maybe do a thing with Jones rambling off facts about his dominance with a “say what you want, but I’m the best fighter alive” flavor. But that’s wishful thinking on my part, as the UFC always tries to sell the “this is a great fight” angle.

Kind of depressing to see how many of the Vitor clips are from long ago. But this is a guy whose last big win at light heavyweight came at UFC 46, so what can ya do?
