BloodyElbow.com was on deck at the open workouts for ONE FC 5: Pride of a Nation was hosted Wednesday afternoon in the Discovery Suites Hotel in the Philippines.
Among the fighters on the media event were headliners Bibiano Fernandes and Gustavo Falciroli who were facing off on a bantamweight clash between two top notch Brazilian Jiu jitsu champs. Also on the line up were undefeated Filipino champion, Eric Kelly, MMA legend Jens Pulver, along with former UFC heavyweight kingpins Andre Arlovski and Tim Sylvia.
After the jump, check out more photos and a video highlight from the open workout.

Gustavo Falciroli, who dyed his hair blue as a homage to his two nations Australia and Brazil:
Bibiano Fernandes, who reiterated that he doesn’t have a game plan, he’ll just come in and fight:
Jens Pulver hit the pads with his younger brother, and gave the Filipino mainstream media his thoughts on Eric Kelly, and his motivation for continuing his career and getting back the mentality and mindset he had before. He mentioned that he was currently at 152 lbs, which is roughly the same weight as his opponent in Kelly.
One of the interesting things that happened was Pulver nerding out after I asked him about Diablo 3, ranting about his Monk and Barbarian. Majority of the guys in the media room probably didn’t understand our conversation which was pretty funny.
The undefeated Wushu-based URCC Champion, Eric Kelly kicking the crap out of these tiny focus mitts:
Tim Sylvia, who said he wanted to kick Arlovski’s teeth down his throat.
Andrei Arlovski went right after Tim Sylvia and started yelling “How’s Taste My Pee Pee” as his rival was walking out of the room. He also did his “This is Sparta” bit after his workout with Travis Browne.
