UFC 151 is set to go on September 1st in Las Vegas, and injuries have taken their toll on this card as well. Josh Koscheck is out of his co-main event bout with Jake Ellenberger and has been replaced by the returning Jay Hieron. The UFC hasn’t confirmed that it will still serve as the co-main, but what else is there? What we do have right now is a huge main event pitting UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones against former Pride and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson. That’s what will sell the show, and the rest of it is almost just filler to be honest. It should still be pretty good though.
Here’s how things look right now:
Sept 1st, live on PPV from Las Vegas, NV:
Jon Jones (16-1) vs. Dan Henderson (29-8) [LHW Title]
Jay Hieron (23-5) vs. Jake Ellenberger (27-6)
Dennis Siver (20-8) vs. Eddie Yagin (16-5-1)
Dennis Hallman (51-14-2, 1 NC) vs. Thiago Tavares (17-4-1)
