Ben Henderson and Frankie Edgar rematched at UFC 150, looking to clear up any controversy from their first meeting, a fight Henderson won by decision. Unfortunately for the UFC, this fight was even more controversial. However, it was Henderson getting the decision again, putting to rest any chance of the two men fighting again.
Here are the highlights from the fight:
Bloody Elbow’s live blog scored the fight 49-46 in favor of Edgar but two of the three judges disagreed, scoring the fight 49-46 Edgar, 48-47 Henderson and 48-47 Henderson.
Following the fight, UFC president Dana White said that he thought Edgar won 48-47, giving him rounds 2, 4 and 5 and said that it was a bad decision, according to Amy LaBelle of Punch Drunk MMA.
Henderson being 2-0 against Edgar means they won’t fight again, though. And Nate Diaz has been lined up as the man who will get the next shot.
