More news is coming in regarding the legal troubles of Badr Hari, and it’s not good. For the past few months, Hari has been dealing with questions surrounding an attack in the Amsterdam ArenA that left the victim seriously injured, possibly permanently. Hari has been linked to the attack, and was recently named the prime suspect in the case.
Now, Badr Hari has turned himself in to the Amsterdam police and has admitted guilt in the attack. Badr has stated that he did indeed strike the victim, and was joined in the attack by others.
As a result of this confession, Hari is currently in jail in Amsterdam, where he is in solitary confinement. Reports indicate that he is allowed to read newspapers and watch television, but is currently not allowed access to those outside of the jail. No word yet on when he will appear in court.
This is not the first time Hari has been implicated in an attack, as he was also questioned in an Amsterdam nightclub attack in 2010, though he ended up avoiding serious legal trouble in that instance.

Without court details yet known, it’s hard to say exactly what the future holds for Hari. One thing we know is this – Badr Hari is guilty of this assault. That’s no longer a matter of speculation. The big question now becomes just how big of an impact will this have on his future, and when, if ever, he will return to the ring.
