As reported a few days ago, Andrei Arlovski and Jens Pulver will both be competing this August, at that ONE Fighting Championship card in the Philippines. Their opponents have already been finalized, and today it was made known to the public.
As he announced on twitter, Australian heavyweight Soa ‘The Hulk’ Palelei (17-3) will be facing Arlovski (17-9), and will be looking to continue his 7-fight winning streak when they lock horns in Manila. Palelei, the former UFC and PRIDE veteran, has been recently competing in CFC, an Australian-based promotion which is part of the ONE FC network.
Also reported by MMA Mania, former UFC lightweight champion Pulver (26-16-1) will be moving back to featherweight to take on URCC Champion Eric Kelly (7-0) in his home country. Lil’ Evil is coming off a decision victory last April, while Kelly is coming off a win over top Korean prospect, Bae Young Kwon on ONE FC 4.
