While UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture is getting plenty of notoriety for his return to the silver screen for August’s The Expendables II, a new trailer came out Monday featuring Couture in a bigger starring role in a lesser pushed film.
Couture stars in Hijacked, an action movie where he plays a special agent attempting to reconcile with his ex-fiancee. She boards a jet targeted by hijackers and he must get on the plane to save her. Couture stars alongside Dominic Purcell (Prison Break), Vinnie Jones (Snatch, X-Men 3) and Holt McCallany (Fight Club, FX’s Lights Out). The movie is skipping theaters and will be available on DVD/BluRay in late-July.
Along with Expendables II and Hijacked, Couture will appear this year in Geezers!, currently in post-production.
