Pictured above are the official scorecards from the highly controversial bout between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley. Most of the fans, analysts, and experts watching the bout felt that Pacquiao had won by a comfortable margin. The final scores were completely different though, which even led to Bob Arum saying he was “ashamed of the sport of boxing“.

After the jump, let’s take a look at the highly controversial numbers.
- Jerry Roth was the only judge to score the fight for Manny. He scored the fight 115-113, with Bradley only winning rounds 2, 7, 10, 11 & 12.
- CJ Ross saw it much differently, and scored it for Bradley at 113-115, with him winning rounds 2, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12.
- Duane Ford also had it for Bradley at 113-115, with him winning rounds 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12.
- In general, punch totals don’t usually tell the complete story of the bout, but it is very interesting that Compubox numbers had Pacquiao out-landing Bradley by a large margin.
- Manny landed 253 out of 751 attempts for a 34% connection rate. Bradley on the other hand, landed just 19% of his punches with only 159 out of his 839 attempts landing. Manny also landed more in 10 of the 12 rounds
- I just re-watched the fight, and one of the more interesting things to take note of is that the 5th was when Pacquiao wobbled and hurt Bradley. Unfortunately, the 2 questionable judges both scored it for Bradley. I also disagree with several of the rounds they scored, but the 5th should’ve been a really easy round to score, so it’s really tough to try and justify their actions here.
