Report: Dennis Siver Vs. Eddie Yagin Booked For UFC 151 In September

A featherweight bout is in the works for the September 1st UFC 151 card in Las Vegas, with Dennis Siver and Eddie Yagin agreeing to square off according to MMANytt.se:

Dennis Siver will stay in the featherweight division after making a successful transition to at UFC: Sweden in a match against Diego Nunes. His new opponent is Eddie Yagin, according to a source close to the organization to MMAnytt. Both Siver and Yagin have verbally confirmed the match and will meet at UFC 151 in Las Vegas on September 1.

As the report mentions, Siver decided to cut down to 145 lbs. after he saw a four-fight winning streak snapped by the much larger Donald Cerrone. The decision indeed paid off with a decision victory over Diego Nunes in April. Yagin, the former Tachi Palace Fights featherweight champion, surprised many with an upset decision win over former title contender, Mark Hominick in April, which earned him both his first UFC win, and a fight-of-the-night bonus.
