Start your day off with these clips for a bit of nostalgia as long time heavyweight kingpin, Fedor Emelianenko took on Naoya Ogawa during the 2004 PRIDE Heavyweight Grand Prix, and 340 lb. Zuluzinho in a non-title bout about a year later.
First off, Fuel TV’s Best of PRIDE featured one of those bouts which Japan was known for, where they mixed in match ups that was more spectacle than sport. (Video may not be available for some countries):
Pride Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko faced an interesting test in his fight against the massive 6’5 340lb Zuluzinho. Emelianenko quickly proved that size does not beat technique, as he dispatched Zuluzinho with a flurry of strikes that sent the big man crashing to the canvas.

Japanese superstar Kazuhiro Nakamura took on kickboxer Stefan Leko at Pride 29. Nakamura made quick work of Leko, taking him to the ground and pounding him with punches. At PRIDE Final Conflict 2004, PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko blitzed Naoya Ogawa with punches before finishing him with a beautiful armbar submission.
