Strikeforce Adds Three Fights To July 14th Show Including Healy Vs. Hirota

Strikeforce continues to fill up their next card in Portland on July 14th. They’ve now added three more bouts, including one at lightweight and two at welterweight. Here’s a look at the new additions:

Pat Healy (27-16) vs. Mizuto Hirota (14-4-1)
Jordan Mein (24-8) vs. Tyler Stinson (23-8)
Jason High (15-3) vs. Nate Moore (8-2)

Healy is thought to be the next contender for the Strikeforce lightweight title if he can get through former Sengoku and current DEEP champion Hirota. Since a long layoff after Shinya Aoki broke his arm, Hirota has successfully defended his DEEP title twice. This will be his North American debut.

Mein and Stinson are both looking to rebound from losses in their last bouts (to Tyron Woodley and Tarec Saffiedine respectively), while High will look to push his Strikeforce winning streak to three with a victory over Moore.

The card will feature two title fights, with Luke Rockhold defending his Strikeforce middleweight title against Tim Kennedy, while Tyron Woodley and Nate Marquardt will battle for the vacant Strikeforce middleweight title.
