Americans celebrated Memorial Day and the whole world enjoyed another epic weekend of MMA and kickboxing action as UFC 146 saw the first-ever all-heavyweight main card in the Octagon and K-1 returned under new management. UFC 146 was headlined by Junior dos Santos’ spirited defense of his UFC Heavyweight title against ex-champ Frank Mir. The card also saw former champ Cain Velasquez do everything he could to earn a rematch with dos Santos by utterly pasting Antonio “Big Foot” Silva. Here’s all of BE’s coverage from the weekend.
