UFC Heavyweights Pat Barry and Lavar Johnson will meet at UFC on Fox 3 on May 5 in East Rutherford, New Jersey’s Izod Center. The two knock-out artists are kicking off the broadcast portion of the card and are clearly being put in a spot to provide some fireworks to kick off the broadcast.
Fuel TV has release some full-fight videos featuring the most recent UFC performances by both men. Below is Pat Barry’s KO win over Christian Morecraft from UFC on FX in January of this year. It was Barry’s 6th KO win of his career.
Barry certainly needed the win following two losses in a row to Stefan Struve and Cheick Kongo. He improved his overall MMA record to 7-4 and his UFC record to 4-4.
We’ll see Lavar Johnson KO’ing Joey Beltran after the jump…
Lavar Johnson made his UFC debut against Joey Beltran at UFC on Fox 2 in January. He came into the UFC from Strikeforce where he’d lost his last 2 fights. He emphatically made the case that he belongs in the UFC by finishing the UFC veteran Beltran.
