To wrap our day of NFL draft coverage, something that we’ve enjoyed being able to take part in with our community members despite it being outside our normal range of coverage, we bring you the full results of the first round of the 2012 NFL draft.
The player we’ve followed most closely here at Bloody Elbow was Chandler Jones, little brother of UFC light heavyweight champ, Jon Jones, dropped lower than many experts had him going. In the end the New England Patriots traded up to #21 to select Chandler. So he’s got a real chance to play for a championship team.
It was a crazy round full of teams jumping around with trades (eight different trades) but still came in under the three hour mark. Our live results have all the different trades but you can find just what team picked which player after the jump.
Tomorrow we shift our focus back to MMA and away from the NFL except for a discussion post for the night’s draft.
