Just when you thought there wasn’t any other type of promo that Chael Sonnen could deliver to his rival Anderson Silva, the No. 1 middleweight contender outdid himself prior to the UFC 145 weigh-ins last Friday.
Sonnen threw out his usual barbs toward the UFC Middleweight Champion and then broke into song. Without missing a beat, the man influenced by pro wrestling promos did his best Honky Tonk Man impression to the crowd’s delight.

“So get in the gym and work on your sprawl/I just talked to Uncle Dana and it’s winner take all/I’m going to leave you with some string and a whole bunch of welts/You’re going to need it Anderson because I’m taking your belt.”
